An ornate, three story building from the XIX century that we decided to add three levels to. Our plan is to maintain the building’s unique urban presence by implementing a modern version of the classic “esgrafiat” technique. The new version will include a new stairwell that will improve the overall accessibility of the building, as well as a new garden flat that looks out onto its own picturesque garden. Inside, the new distribution of the flats will be defined by a circular ring that adds an element of complexity to the overall space. The four existing 65m2 one-bedroom flats will be fully renovated, while the two new flats will feature 2.5 bedrooms, two bedrooms, and a spacious patio. Finally, the 2.5 bedroom, two bathroom penthouse will boast a breathtaking view of the city’s iconic Tibidabo mountain range.
